Brighton Film School guest lecturer Eva Riley selected for Cannes Film Festival
Local filmmaker and guest lecturer at Brighton Film School, Eva Riley, has had her latest short film ‘Patriot’ selected for the prestigious Cannes Film Festival.
Patriot was one of just 9 short films selected for screening at the international renowned festival out of over 4,550 submissions from over 100 countries.
Patriot and Eva Riley will now be in the running for the 2015 Short Film Palme d’or, to be awarded by Abderrahmane Sissako, President of the Jury, at the official prize-giving ceremony of the 68th Festival de Cannes on 24th May.
