Brighton Film School sponsor successful COSMAT 2015 Film Conference
Brighton Film School once again proudly sponsored the COSMAT film conference, held at the Duke of Yorks Cinema, Brighton, held on Friday 7th December 2015 and aimed at 6th form and College students studying film and media.
Headlining the festival was BAFTA nominated Writer/Director Clio Barnard, who screened her award-winning film, The Selfish Giant, which received a warm round of applause after the credits had rolled. Barnard also offered some fantastic insight into the filmmaking process, casting, financing and creative regrets.
Earlier in the conference, Judith Noble, Principal Lecturer at the Arts University Bournemouth held a talk about British horror and the legacy of Jacques Tourneur.
After the conference, the organiser Martin Sohn-Rothel held a launch and signing of his new book, 'Real to Reel'.
Brighton Film School is a specialist, independent training facility located in central Brighton.
