British filmmaking legend Mike Leigh coming to The Space Brighton

BAFTA winning and Academy Award nominated Writer/Director Mike Leigh (Secrets and Lies, Vera Drake, Abigails Party) is coming to The Space in association with Brighton Film School, on Monday 25th January 2016.

We have secured 28 tickets to this sold out film event, not to be missed, exclusively for film school students and staff.

This tickets are available now on a first come, first served basis. There is a £10 deposit for these tickets which will be refunded to you after the event. If you reserve a ticket but do not attend, you will lose your deposit.

Mike Leigh has received thirteen BAFTA nominations and six American Academy Award nominations. He has won four BAFTAs and was awarded a BAFTA Fellowship in 2015. In 1993, he was awarded an OBE for services to the film industry. Mike’s acclaimed work includes popular films such as Secrets and Lies, Life is Sweet, Vera Drake and Mr. Turner, and renowned television plays such as Abigail’s Party and Nuts in May.

This appearance will provide an intimate and an insightful look into the work of a British filmmaking legend.
