Cinecity

Cine-City presents the annual Brighton Film Festival, the South Coast’s major celebration of cinema. Cine-City also deliver a year-round programme of screenings, including artists’ moving image work, exhibitions and special events in and around the city.

Duke of York’s Cinema

City Screen was formed in 1989 to provide cinemas that serve their communities in city centre locations and are now the leading independent cinema operator in the UK. Independent, art-house and foreign-language films have always been central to their profile.

Junk TV

Junk TV is Video Production, Education and Screening Company that was established in 1997. Now based in Brighton, England, Junk TV specialises in Youth and Community Video and DVD Production; Community-based Film Festivals, and Short Film Production.

The Space

The Space is a regular entertainment and media event with a line up of high calibre and successful special guest interviews – held at Komedia, Brighton’s leading arts venue. Past guests include film director Sir Alan Parker (Midnight Express, Bugsy Malone), music producer William Orbit (Madonna, U2), actor and writer Mark Gatiss (The League of Gentlemen, Doctor Who) and television producer John Llyod (QI and Blackadder).

Screen Archive South East

Screen Archive South East is a public sector moving image archive serving the South East of England. The archive’s collections of magic lantern slides, films, video, and associated materials capture the many varied aspects of life, work and creativity from the early days of screen history to the present day and serve as a rich and invaluable historical resource.
