Short course filmmakers shooting on location

Our current cohort of short-course filmmakers were out in Brighton and Hove yesterday, shooting a scene on location from a drama devised by fellow student Kerry Grainger.

The scene called for the group to work together to find a suitable location in the Hove area that would fulfill Kerry's vision of a regular domestic environment. As well as writing, directing, filming and working to find a suitable set, the group also cast professional actors in their piece, which gave an excellent experience of a working film set.

After a busy day of filming, the group came back to the film school to view the days rushes and begin making the editing decisions for the final piece.

The day was overseen by feature film Director Julian Kerridge.

Brighton Film School still has places available on their short courses and the Filmmaking HNC Fast-track starting this January. For more information please look at our website or give us a call and arrange a visit.
