Students crew Pop Will Eat Itself music video shoot
Students on the Filmmaking HND course assisted media Director and Producer Tim Day (Snowstorm Media) on a recent shoot for two professional music video for renowned alternative rock-band Pop Will Eat Itself, who have over 30 years of performing experience behind them at the highest level and several chart successes to their name from the 90's and 00's.
The students fulfilled a number of different roles across the multi-day shoot, which was a mixture of location, live footage and some scenes shot in our very own studio at Brighton Film School. Some of the students even appeared in front of the camera.
Director and Producer Tim Day, who has extensive experience in working in the film, TV and music industries said:
This was a fantastic experience for the 1st year Filmmaking HND students to get some real-world practice working on a professional shoot with a band. They were all very professional and I was very impressed with their contribution to the final result.

The project was well-timed as students on their 1st year Filmmaking HND course are currently working on their own music videos as part of their coursework, which is a live-project with a signed band and their management team in which they are to deliver a professional shot music video on time, in budget and according to brief.
Tim Day (Snowstorm Media) is a regular guest lecturer at Brighton Film School, teaching music video practices and delivering specialist workshops for the Filmmaking HND, BIMM Music Video Production Unit and Brighton Young Filmmakers.
