A new film shot in Brighton has received the good news that it will receive a UK wide distribution deal. 'The Cutting Room', which was crewed by alumni from the Filmmaking HND course and current students from the Art Direction (Set Design) HND course, and will be distributed and released in Tesco, HMV, Amazon, Lovefilm and iTunes on June 1st 2015 - a remarkable achievement for a small budget film.
'The Cutting Room' is written and directed by filmmaker Warren Dudley and is about three college students, Raz, Charlie and Jess, who are about to start work on their end of year Media Studies project... unaware of a malevolent force lurking deep below their sleepy town.
A recent wave of apparent Cyberbullying and the disappearance of two local girls lead the group to an abandoned army barracks situated deep in the forests that surround the college. What they find there is a terrifying labyrinth of tunnels from which there seems no escape... and a dark figure hell bent on tormenting them. Hunted, frightened and lost, Raz, Charlie and Jess must now escape the barracks or suffer the unspeakable fate that awaits them.
"The Cutting Room" is currently available to pre-order on Amazon and iTunes & will be available in over 800 Tesco and HMV Stores from June 1st.
