College talks, HE Fairs and Careers

Brighton Film School is dedicated to inspiring and engaging with learners from a variety of ages. Our school liaison and outreach programme aims to encourage all young people to achieve their educational and personal goals in the film industry.

Our industry professionals visit colleges, sixth forms, schools and UCAS Fairs on a regular basis to talk to young people about their experiences in the film industry and how they got there. If students are interested in the film school, we can talk about the courses we offer, how to apply and what student life would be like in Brighton as a BFS student.

We would welcome the opportunity to come to your school or College and can provide talks on career opportunities in the film industry and what training and education you will need; or we can get you involved in a practical hands-on film workshop with first class kit including cameras, lighting, sound and of course, the classic clapper. Talks last approximately 45-60 minutes with time for questions and workshops can last from anything between one hour or half a day.

If you would like to book a school or college careers or progression talk then please do not hesitate to contact holly@brightonfilmschool.co.uk
We also open our doors each year in a series of open evenings. Please book your place at our next open evening here.
