BERG set starts to take shape

Our 1st year Art Direction and Production Design HND students are continuing to work hard on the BERG set ahead of the the grand unveiling on the 22nd November of the project specially designed for the Brighton Cinecity festival.

Here, Jonna Nordenhead and Yahmina Kessner are at the workshop, assisted by carpentry students from City College Brighton and Hove, lining the flatage of the BERG set.

BERG is described as a film set installation for an imaginary screen version of BERG. The immersive, cinematic environment is complemented by sound design from renowned musician and composer Barry Adamson. The project runs from the University of Brighton Gallery from the 22nd November - 19th December and the show is open to the general public. In addition, in partnership with Brighton Film School, a series of very special behind-closed-doors tours and talks are available with Anna Deamer for schools groups and art classes interested in the project or a career in Art Direction.

If you are interested in BERG or you or your school would like to arrange a special tour please contact Brighton Film  School.
