Brighton Film School visits the BSC Exhibition

This past week 25 students from the 1st and 2nd year Filmmaking HND course attended the British Society of Cinematographers Expo at Pinewood Studios to test out the latest camera, lighting and grip equipment.

On show was the 35mm camera that recently shot Star Wars, the new 65mm Alexa and the super slow motion Phantom camera. The students came away with T-shirts, caps, mugs and a ton of literature.

Sony CineAlta Digital Motion Picture Centre were at the event and have invited our students to attend a workshop to test their new Cinema camera range.

Gary Barber stated that 'This was the best year so far for us at the BSC show, meeting old friends, linking up with our industry supporters Panavision and Panalux as well as catching up with our founding patron Brian Tufano. The exhibitors and industry professionals welcomed our students into the heart of the industry'.
