Catching up with alumni Nick Grimwood

Nick Grimwood graduated from the Cinematography and Directing Diploma in June 2015 and he was recently in touch to tell us all about his recent success working across several different projects, and festival success.

Since graduating from Brighton Film School my film, "We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes" was selected for The Remake Film Festival in September.

I'm also currently working as Director on a web-series based on Old Testament stories for Gladius Productions Ltd. I am in pre-production as Writer/Director on a drag queen sitcom/musical called 'House of Mortal Queens' for 3rd Story Productions.

I'm still working with Ed Hamilton, who I met on the course, to finish the sound on 'Zero Hour' - our end-of-year film on the course. It's ended up being an interesting film that does capture the feeling of loosing someone close to you while still being quite a palatable sci-fi story. My fingers are crossed that we get it finished soon!
