Students currently on the Cinematography and Directing Diploma were invited to screen their end-of-year films at the 6th annual BKSTS Student Film Show at London's BFI Southbank. The professional industry body, the BKSTS, has endorsed our Cinematography and Directing Diploma course as being industry relevant and providing professional practice.
Industry professionals, members of the BKSTS, students and staff all attended the 6th annual BKSTS Student Film Show in the 2nd July at BFI Southbank in London. Sponsored by the digital cinema manufacturer, Christie, with the excellent support of the BFI Southbank Technical Services Team, this is an occasion when graduating students on courses that are accredited or approved by the BKSTS get a chance to showcase their film production work in this prestigious venue.
Students from Brighton Film School were joined by those from Greenwich University, Sheffield Hallam University, Staffordshire University and the University College for the Creative Arts.
Mark Trompeteler, BKSTS Accreditation Scheme Coordinator commented:
Over the past six years you can see how the work produced has been of a higher and higher standard each year, following the ongoing developments in the industry.
