First-Time Filmmakers Showcase
The Lift-Off First Time Filmmakers Showcase was a brilliant experience for all of us. When we arrived, we had talks and workshops with Sony, Red and Rotolight which was a real treat but more valuable, was the imitate time we had with the co-founders to get feedback on our film. I felt really privileged to be there and to see my film shown on a big screen! I entered The Middle Men because it felt like the first film where I really started to see an improvement in us as filmmakers and so it was great that an external body recognised that and took the time to meet us, give us valuable feedback and create a line of communication for us with future projects. It was also a great opportunity to meet other filmmakers and create some connections outside of the film school and to see some really great short films.
