Film Summer School is three week that course will introduce you to our digital and film cameras, editing suite, the production process and you will work alongside like-minded creative people as you create and edit your first film.

Introduction to Animation (10 weeks) evening course introducing you to modern and classic animation in a fun, practical and informative manner.

Introduction to Filmmaking (10 weeks) evening course is the perfect introduction to those who might not have much experience in film, feel a bit rusty or would just like to explore a new area of creativity.

Screenwriting for beginners (6 weeks) is a practical evening course for those with a spark for storytelling.

Courses for young people

Summer School Juniors is a 2 week course which will introduce you to digital cameras, an editing suite, the production process and working alongside like-minded creative people as you create and edit your first film.

We offer online payment facilities or you can send a cheque payable to Brighton Film School. Alternatively you can call into the film school and pay by cash or cheque. Deposits are payable in advance to secure your place on the course and are non-refundable unless the course is cancelled.
The balance of the fees (full fee less the deposit) are due at your first class.
