Student wins meet-and-greet with Ray Winstone

Brighton Film School recently ran a prize for the Filmmaking HND and Art Direction HND students to meet-and-greet screen legend Ray Winstone, who was in Brighton to talk about his cult classic film and present a screening of Scum at the Duke of Yorks Cinema.

Brighton Film School students attended en-masse and had the opportunity to ask Ray Winstone questions about his career and the film itself, whilst a special exclusive opportunity to meet the award winning performer was presented to Miles Gower, a 1st year Filmmaking HND student.

Miles said:

It was great to meet a legend like Ray Winstone and he was really friendly. It was also my birthday this week so perfect timing for a present!

Ray Winstone also spent time with Head of School Gary Barber and Creative Director Carol Harrison, before donating a signed copy of his latest book to the film school.
